Day 4 – Cried a lot overnight…actually found all the dogs downstairs with her when I got up 🙂 She’s wandering more and more…doesn’t like to be alone so choosing beds in rooms where we are – or where Mya is. Still using kennel (in dining room) as her anchor and heads back there any time a dog tries to engage with her. Tail actively wagging when I approach…loves tuna 🙂

Day 5 – Left crate door open last night and got an entire night’s sleep Hooray! Brought her out with the gang to hang in yard but she was stressed. Tried to give her some space with a retractable but anytime I approached she fell back into her ‘scramble away – then freak out when she can’t get away‘ pattern. Took all day to rebuild trust…still crying if we go outside or leave the room – still won’t do stairs.

Day 6 – Cried for a while overnight. Put her out in the yard with the gang after breakfast, once I left and most of the kiddos came in she walked around the yard comfortably and finally settled in the sun. When I brought her in, I placed her down half-way up the stairs; showed her what to do for 2 stairs then she did the last three on her own 🙂 Friend came over with dog, she was rude…lunging, barking, baring teeth. He ignored her and she let it go.
